Connecting with Kids
Children's Ministry
We value the wonderful kids who come to FBC! Our doors are always open, and you will find a wonderful atmosphere for fun and learning! In fact, pictures of our preschool and children's educational areas will soon be posted, illustrating the well-lighted and well-maintained facilities. Our children's workers are highly trustworthy (many are school teachers), and have an established track record of ministry to our best and brightest kids. The children can participate in various ministries in the church, especially designed for their needs.
Kingdom Kidz Sunday school
Each Sunday at 9:45am, our Kingdom Kidz learn about the truths of Scripture through a variety of activities which capture and keep their attention, highlighting different learning styles.
Children's Choir
The kids meet each Wednesday at 5:30pm during the school year. They learn about Jesus through music and present two programs a year: at Christmas and in the springtime.
Vacation Bible School
A highlight of the year! VBS is an important part of children's ministry at FBC and has been for many years. At VBS 2008, over 200 children attended. Our leaders and teachers put in lots of hours and attention to make VBS a strong and viable ministry to the entire community.
